GeshaView - The Area
The location of GeshaView was chosen after viewing many options in the centre of Bulgaria. We chose the spot next to the old village of Gesha due to the wonderful views, and the fact it lies between the ancient capital of Veliko Tarnovo and the magnificent Stara Planina Mountains. GeshaView is all about Wellbeing, Activity and Culture.

Virtually every night of the year the memorable light and sound display recreates the history of Bulgaria illuminating the ancient fortress with traditional Bulgarian music floating through the cobbled streets. The viewing gallery is currently having its capacity increased to meet the hugely increased tourist demand. Veliko Tarnovo is in the top ten most visited tourist attractions in Eastern Europe.
Veliko Tarnovo is a vibrant city with nearly 20,000 students (the second largest university in Bulgaria) and is a haven for Bulgarian culture and history whilst also offering modern facilities, great restaurants and plenty of night life.
The countryside of central Bulgaria is spectacular making it perfect for hiking, horse-riding, mountain biking, paragliding etc or more relaxing pleasures such as photography or painting.

Just a mile from GeshaView is a fully stocked fishing lake, as with everything in the area the views are spectacular, especially at sunset!

The courtyard will house our activity centre where residents of the village will be able to arrange numerous cultural tours, physical or creative activities and wellbeing experiences. The centre will be laid out to easily allow residents to choose to spend their time doing exactly what they want and get a good idea as to what the different options offer.
